About OEKC

OEKC is the fastest endurance karting series in the UK

The series promotes fast, competitive, low cost racing in a friendly atmosphere. OEKC allows most makes of karts & engines to race together, using a handicap system.
Trophies are awarded for different classes of kart. Driver ages range from 16 to 70. Races are 4.5 hours and 2016 includes various tracks such as Whilton Mill, Lydd, Daytona Milton Keynes, Fulbeck, Bayford Meadows and Rye house.

Hire Karts

You can hire a race prepared Rotax-Max kart to race in the OEKC endurance series.

So what do you get for your hard earned cash? 60 mins practice & 15 mins qualifying. followed by 4.5 hour team race.

£80  –  Race Fuel inc 2 Stroke oil  
£225-275  –  Kart Prep Prior To Each Race  Inc. Chains, Sprockets, Exh Matting, Axle, Brake Pads and the list goes on etc etc
£100  –  Transport Costs (Diesel)

Total Hire costs are £1000 per race.. …( eg 4 drivers = £250 each )

Frequently Asked Questions

1.Do I need an MSA License?


2.Do we run on fixed gearing?

No, all gearing is open. The track guide will give you a starting point.

3.How many rounds can you drop in the championship?

Teams can drop any 2 rounds of the championship that they have raced at. Teams cannot drop a round they have not entered and paid for.

4.I run on a pre 2003 chassis (Older type pod fittings) Can I still race in the OEKC series?

Yes you can, Rules and regs will be amended to allow this.

5.How will you keep me informed about any developments or updates on the site?

All you need to do is register your details on here. Leave the rest to us. We also have a FACEBOOK page where you can look for updates etc

6.If I don’t own a kart, can I hire one?

Yes you can, Please call Rene on: 07886 677005 for details.

7.If I don’t have a transponder, can I hire one?

Yes you can, normal charge is around £15.00 please call circuit prior to arrival just to make sure they still offer the service.

8.Is there a minimum number of drivers per team?

You would stuggle to do the whole race on your own, but 2, 3.4 or even 5 drivers per team is fine.

9.What is the minimum age for racing in the series?


10.If I’m racing in a Pro-kart, do you have a handicap system?

Yes, all the info is in the rules & regs.

11.What size fuel tank do I need? Can I turn up with a 10 ltr tank?

No you can’t, MAX size for Rotax, Iame X30, Swiss Auto & Biland is 9 ltrs. But please check full regs for other engines.

12.Do I need a new set of tyres (Slicks) for every race to be competitive?

No, the control slick is a very durable. New tyres are available at Whilton mill shop….KKC or from Dartford karting.

13.Is there a kart shop at each track we visit?

The tracks with a kart shop on site are Whilton Mill, Rye House & Lydd.

14.Is it OK to enter 1 or 2 races, rather than the whole series?

Teams are welcome to enter as many races as they want.
